SSA News: Soon we will be of service to you from our new location in Ostend!

Warehouse closed for final moving week from 16/08/2021 until 20/08/2021.

We are pleased to inform you that we have entered the final phase of our move. Starting May ’21 we have been transferring over 30,000 SKU’s from Blankenberge to Ostend. The continuity of our service and the continued delivery of your orders have remained top priority. In addition, we must also ensure that the planning of the move is not compromised which is a challenge for our team. We are aware that during this period you have had to wait longer for your goods than usual and we would like to sincerely apologize for the delay. Soon we will be of service to you from our new location in Ostend. A completely new warehouse with a surface area of 6,000 m² and a height of 15 m. Designed to guarantee you an even better service, faster and more efficient order processing and to offer you an extensive range of products. The new infrastructure was created in function of our customers and the well-being of our employees.

On 14/08/2021 we will start with the final moving week. Therefore, we will not be able to ship orders from 16/08/2021 until 25/08/2021. All orders placed up to and including 10/08/2021 will still be processed and dispatched before the moving stop. From 26/08/2021 we will be fully operational from our new address and we will start processing and sending your orders again. We will remain reachable by phone, whatsapp and email during this period.

Below you will find some more information about our new warehouse and what you can expect.

• Optimized order processing times.

Thanks to new software, updated processes and new warehouse techniques, we will be able to accelerate the time of picking and packing enormously. Thanks to the automated Kardex system, optimized picking routes and zones, we will be able to work much more efficiently. This way we can guarantee our customers a faster service. Everything will be processed as orderly as possible, both inbound and outbound.

• Room for an extensive range.

With over 200 brands, SSA is a leading archery distributor. This of course requires sufficient space. Our new pallet racks offer space for more than 5,000 pallet places that will be used as efficiently as possible thanks to the WMS software. By means of adapted machines and well-trained employees, each product will find the right placement in our warehouse.

From 2022 we can welcome you in a new showroom with indoor and outdoor shooting range. Here you will be able to view and test all the latest new products. A sitting area with a coffee machine and separate offices with PC stations where you and our sales team will be able to place orders on our web site.
